Oct. 29, 2025, Meeting Highlights:
- It was previously decided to sell our seldom used skidsteer and begin looking for a used tractor w/front loader as a replacement. Dennis C. posted an ad on Facebook Marketplace which resulted in the unit's sale.
- The club's workday on Saturday, Oct. 18. resulted in replacement of several damaged deck planks on multiple WRT bridges. Additional workdays will be scheduled at a later date to complete the remaining bridges.
- Discussions and information gathering continue regarding changing our club's tax status to 501c3. President Pete will discuss further with Accountants Dan Thole and Jamey Crotteau.
- It's assumed that we will be informed about who will replace our departed county trail coordinator Jeff Wolfe at our next County Mtg. on Nov. 6th. We're told it may fall under the jurisdiction of the County Forestry Department.
- Kent C reporte4 that our club has now sold $11,800 in trail map ads.
- Due to the sale of private property at the south end of the WRT, members removed signs and closed the access through that property and moved signage to Coleman Street.
- Barron County ATV Trails will officially close for the season at the end of the day on Friday, Oct. 31st.
- November and December club meeting dates have been changed due to deer hunting season: No second meeting in November (Nov. 25th) and December meeting dates have been moved to Dec. 2 and 23rd.
- Members were reminded of the annual Christmas Parade scheduled for Dec. 4th, for which we will provide a float.
- Bob Marsh's name was drawn for our "Attendance Raffle" however he wasn't in attendance to accept his prize.
Our next club meeting will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 11th, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the clubhouse.
