It's expected that tickets for the County UTV Raffle will be distributed to clubs on Friday, April 11th.
Our large sign that was created for last year's raffle has been revised for this year's event.
Map ad solicitations have begun for the 2026-27 County Trail Map and prices will remain unchanged. The Chetek Club is arranging to work with a new printer this year and the order forms for ads have been updated. Kent Chambard is managing this year's map ads for our club.
Baribeau Implement has replaced the tracks with tires on our groomer tractor for summer work and is having the oil tested to determine if it needs changing.
As expected, AWSC dues for each club member will be increased by $5 as of July 1.
The AWSC recommends a 48 hour advanced notice of seasonal trail openings/closings and that it should NOT be a mid-day occurrence but preferably early a.m. or late p.m.
There was much discussion about repairing or replacing the trail bridge near the Anderson Trailer Park. No decision was reached.
In an effort to address speeders on the roads outside of the Cedar Lake Trails, the club will order and install speed limit/caution signs for each trail exit. The club will also need to install signs for "Winter ATVing" upon final approval of that change.
The DNR has informed us that we ARE NOT TO PERFORM ANY MAINTENENCE on the Tuscobia Trail outside of snowmobile season.
Brian Rezac informed the club that he expects to grade the WRT and possibly the Cedar Lake & Narrow Guage Trails within the next week. A volunteer will be needed to clear intersections afterward.
An offer to purchase the club's unused power sweeper was accepted and the club agreed to donate our unused patio heater to the Haugen Fire Department.
The club's next Thursday Dinner Ride is scheduled for April 24th.
Ken Schneider's name was drawn for the attendance raffle, and he WAS present to accept the reward.
Our next club meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the clubhouse.
